Welcome BACK, Christine!
Disney Springs has really transformed over the last few years, from a location where most guests would visit before and/or after their Walt Disney World Resort Vacation to only spend some non-park time or pick up one last Mickey Bar before they left town. But now it's an entire entertainment destination on its own! Dining, shopping, and fun activities like bowling. One of my new favorites is the Coca-Cola Rooftop Rooftop Beverage Bar where you can try Coke products from around the world, including a float tasting-tray!
Disney Springs did streamline all things transportation recently, by introducing multiple parking structures for those who drive and redesigning their bus transportation locations. Yes, there is currently only one Disney Resort Transportation Bus area that is the drop-off and pick-up point for all Disney Resort Hotel guests. This stop is centrally located near the
Town Hall area of Disney Springs. If you scroll down on the link, click 'Disney Springs' for an interactive map. Pro Tip: There's a foot bridge to the right of Paddlefish (the riverboat restaurant) that goes directly over the water and is a more direct and non-crowded path to the Marketplace section of Disney Springs, which is where Disney's Days of Christmas shop is located.
The old bus drop off in this section is now used by non-Disney entities. But, should you ever stay at another Disney Resort Hotel, do know that a few offer complimentary
Boat Transportation to Disney Springs. And don't forget that you can shop for great Disney
Holiday gear from home on ShopDisney.com!
I hope this helped, Christine!
