Hey there, Melissa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I’m so glad you stopped by with your question.
I am so excited for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World! Things may look quite a bit different next time you visit the Happiest Place on Earth, but the magic is there waiting for you every step of the way.
The
Disney Monorail Transportation lines that are currently operational are the Resort Monorail and the Express Monorail. The Resort Monorail will allow guests to travel between the Monorail-area resorts, which include
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa,
Disney’s Contemporary Resort,
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. I chatted with Disney’s Guest Services and learned that there is currently no direct transportation between
Disney Springs and the Transportation and Ticket Center.
Parking at a Disney Resort is complimentary, however, if you have a dining reservation! I would recommend that you consider a wonderful meal at
Kona Cafe or the
Grand Floridian Cafe! For an updated list of available dining locations, check out
the dining experience updates page.
Once you are there, it may be possible to board the monorail from the
Resort Hotel at which you dine and take a scenic ride, but know that it is possible that resort hopping may be limited just to those guests with dining reservations and/or Resort reservations. This is just one of many ways that Walt Disney World is implementing practices to keep all its Cast Members and Guests safe and healthy.
As always, parking is complimentary while visiting Disney Springs, so make sure you pay a visit! One of my favorite stops is
Disney's Candy Cauldron, where the yummiest candy apples are freshly made for you daily!
Melissa, if we can ever be of any help to you in the future, please do not hesitate to come back to see us!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Clara
