Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Deborah!
Welcome to planDisney! We are DELIGHTED you stopped by and are honored to help you plan your upcoming trip to
Disney World! It looks like you will be arriving in just a few days...WOO HOO! Soon, you’ll be walking through the "Most MAGICAL Place on Earth" with a big smile and maybe even some Mickey-shaped snacks in hand. You are about to trade your to-do list for churros, fireworks, and unforgettable moments around every corner. Get ready, because your Disney dreams are about to come to life in the best way possible!
So, are you ready for some TIGGER-ific news?!
Disney Springs is absolutely part of the Disney World experience, but it is not one of the theme parks, which means you can visit without a park ticket! Think of Disney Springs as Mickey's very own shopping, dining, and entertainment wonderland. This is a place where the Disney enchantment meets a relaxing, free-to-enter vibe that’s perfect for any day (or night). You can wander along the sparkling waterfront, listen to live music floating through the air, and even catch a glimpse of a hot air balloon rising above the lake.
Now, let’s talk food because Disney Springs is a foodie’s dream come true! You could start your day with a warm, gooey cookie from
Gideon’s Bakehouse (seriously, it’s practically a rite of passage). Then grab lunch at The
BOATHOUSE, where you can dine beside the water and even spot those classic Amphicars driving into the lake. For dinner,
Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ serves up the kind of Southern comfort food that will have you saying “bless my biscuits!"
And don’t even get me started on the shopping! You can explore the massive
World of Disney store — it’s like stepping into a Disney dream come true, with every kind of souvenir, spirit jersey, and pair of Mickey ears you could imagine. After that, pop over to
The LEGO Store (you’ll love the life-size Disney sculptures), or browse the shops like the
Coca-Cola Store and
DisneyStyle for park-ready outfits.
So while Disney Springs isn’t a theme park, it’s definitely a can’t-miss part of the MAGIC. Whether you’re coming for dinner after a day in the parks or spending an entire afternoon exploring, Disney Springs is where the fun keeps going, with no park ticket required and a whole lot of pixie dust!
If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to let us know. We are here to help in any way!
Have a MAGICAL day!
