Hiya Sheree,
Welcome back to planDisney! How fun that you are planning a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth during Thanksgiving. I can’t believe that we are almost there, so it is definitely time to start getting my planning together.
The great news, Sheree, is that you can be sure to add
Disney Springs to your Thanksgiving Day itinerary. According to the
calendar, it opens at 10:00 AM EST and will remain open until 11:00 PM (subject to change). Although specific details of what will be open and available are still being finalized, in years past, you could expect most restaurants and shopping locations to be open. Last year, my favorites, Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ and many more, such as The Edison and Raglan Road, offered special Thanksgiving Day meals for Guests spending the holiday there. The limited-time menus typically release their menus in late October to early November, so be sure to keep an eye out on the
Disney Parks Blog and the Disney Springs website for those to drop.
I hope this was helpful, Sheree! Before I let you go, I wanted to share one really cool experience that you might consider adding to your Thanksgiving holiday! According to the Disney Springs calendar,
"Drawn to Life" has two scheduled showtimes for Thanksgiving Day. I’m not sure if you have ever seen it, but it is truly an incredible experience that combines the amazing Disney storytelling style with the out-of-this-world acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil. I’m still talking about the show I saw almost four years ago, and I know you will love it. As you continue planning for the holidays, please don't hesitate to return and visit us if you need anything else.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
