Disney Springs Holiday Show Drone Performances - this was a show they did last year at Disney Springs (we missed it). Hoping they will hold the show again this year. Does anyone know? Thanks!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Tracy ~

I made a special trip to Disney Springs early last January to catch the special drone show “Starbright Holidays – An Intel Collaboration.” It was absolutely incredible! It was mind boggling to me that 300 drones could be so precisely coordinated to make elaborate shapes all synchronized to music. It was amazing and totally worth the drive to see them. I sat in awe after it was over and watched all the tiny little red lights buzz away.

So far, we haven't seen anything regarding the return of Starbright Holidays for the 2017 holiday season. However, we are starting to see more and more announcements on how Guests can celebrate joy through the world at the Walt Disney World Resort including the return of ‘Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!' and the all new Sunset Seasons Greetings at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Disney is always keeping us on our toes so you never know what is coming next. I would recommend keeping your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for the latest and greatest announcements. I am for sure keeping my fingers crossed that we will hear that the drones we are looking for will return.

Please feel free to visit us again with all of your planning questions. We are hEAR for you!

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
