when Disney springs was downtown Disney you used to be able to hire a self driven boat that seated approx. 8 people. Could you tell me if this facility still exists please. thank you

    Welcome back, Yvonne!

Disney Springs has undergone an extensive transformation that makes it one of my favorite places to enjoy with my family. We love dining by the water, listening to live entertainment and of course shopping at the many retail locations. Although you can no longer rent personal watercraft at Disney Springs, Specialty Cruises and boat rentals are available at other Walt Disney World Resort marinas.

However, the BOATHOUSE in The Landing area of Disney Springs offers unique guided water-tour experiences. If you want to travel by car and by boat without having to transfer, then be sure to take a ride in the water via a 20-minute guided Amphicar tour. My family made a same-day reservation last November, and my son giggled the entire time! He just loved the idea that the car drove right into the water! If you are looking for a private adventure, then maybe you'll want to take advantage of one of the private champagne or wine tasting cruises available on the 40-foot Italian water taxi, Venezia. For more information about booking the Venezia, you can call (407) 939-2628.
