    Is Disney Springs considered a park and would it use up a day ticket if we visit there? My grandchildren have appointments at Bippitty boutique and we'd like to spend the rest of the day at Magic Kingdom.

    Hi Bridget,

    No worries! Disney Springs is a fabulous shopping, dining and entertainment destination at Walt Disney World. There's no charge for admission or parking, so you will be free to accompany your granddaughters to their Bibbidi Boppidi Boutique appointment without using any days of your theme park tickets.

    I'm not sure if you will be using the complimentary Walt Disney Word transportation, but if so, please be sure you allow plenty of time to get to Disney Springs from your resort. I'd give myself an hour, just to be sure you aren't rushed. You can always browse the shops at Disney Springs or have a snack if you arrive with time to spare.

    The Disney transportation does not currently go directly from Disney Springs to Magic Kingdom. After your appointment, I'd recommend taking the bus from Disney Springs to the Contemporary resort, which is an easy 5- to 10-minute walk to the front entrance of Magic Kingdom.
