Are the Disney springs boats to Port Orleans French Quarter only for guests staying at Port Orleans or can a guest that has a resort reservation for a different hotel (ex. Polynesian) use the Disney Springs boats to go to Port Orleans?

    Welcome back to planDisney, Yolanda!

Port Orleans French Quarter is a great spot to visit. Those infamous Mickey Beignets at Scat Cat's Club - Café are a tasty way to take a break from your theme park day. Recent changes to Disney Springs transportation policies may impact how you visit this resort, so let's go over what's new!

Recently, it was announced that beginning June 28th, Guests using the Disney buses and the Sassagoula River Cruise from Disney Springs will need a Disney Resort hotel or dining reservation. At this time, no other changes to Disney Transportation have been made. This new rollout is still a few days away, and not all specifics have been confirmed at this time. This includes information about resort Guests using this service to visit another Disney hotel. I anticipate these updates to be released real soon! Should your travel dates arrive before full details are revealed, I recommend checking with a friendly Cast Member when you check in to your resort hotel. They will be able to give you all the details about any transportation changes and how they may impact your visit.

Yolanda, in addition to great classic beignets, Scat Cat's also offers a Mickey-shaped Beignet Sundae. Yum! This is a perfect treat during those warm summer days. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that your upcoming stay includes boat rides, beignets, and beautiful days!

I hope your upcoming visit is magical!
