going to disney soon, i have a question about splash mountain. does it still get you soaked in the winter the same as the summer?

Hey there Linda!  I am so happy you stopped by the Moms Panel with your fantastic question today!  Splash Mountain happens to be one of my favorite attractions, but for me, the downfall is getting, well, SPLASHED!

Sometimes I escape with a light spritzing while others result in me being completely drenched from head to toe, no matter what time of the year I visit!  There are so many photos of me plummeting down the mountain in full cover... Hoodie, Poncho, Towel, you name it... all because I hate getting wet!

If it's chilly outside and you're like me, the best thing to do is plan to bundle up.  Several layers works the best.  Pull up a hood and then throw on a poncho for extra protection, then cross your fingers for a dry ride!  Another good tip is to let the cast member loading the logs know that you don't want to get wet!  He or she will situate you near the rear of the log which is known for getting the least splash... although it's kind of up to chance here!

Hope this helps, and please write back with any follow ups!
