Hello, Samantha and Wesley!
Welcome to
planDisney, and thanks for bringing us your question about the
Disneyland Resort. I’m a big fan of introducing little ones to the magic of Disney early on and took my own children to the theme parks for the first time when they were infants. I’m thrilled to hear you’ll be making pixie-dusted memories with your baby soon!
There are dozens of
attractions you can enjoy with your little Mouseketeer! If there is no minimum height requirement for an attraction or it’s listed as being for “any height,” then it’s safe for your baby to ride with you! For those attractions not suitable for your child, you can take advantage of
Rider Switch service, which allows Guests with young children to take turns experiencing attractions (even if
Single Rider service is not advertised) without waiting in the standby queue at two separate times. Simply go to the entrance of the attraction with your family and let a Cast Member know you’d like to use Rider Switch. The ticket of one adult will be scanned at this time and then re-scanned by a Cast Member later when they use the Rider Switch entitlement.
There is a
Baby Care Center in each of the two theme parks that will be helpful while exploring with your little one! There are full-size changing tables, private nursing spaces with comfy chairs, and food prepping areas with a sink and microwave. You can also purchase essentials like diapers, wipes, pacifiers, sunscreen, some over-the-counter medicines, and other items you might need.
I hope this information helps, Samantha and Wesley, and that your time in the theme parks as a family is filled with many unforgettable moments! Please
write back with more questions as you continue making plans.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
