Going to Disney soon and while half of our party is heading to Epcot, we will be hitting up Hollywood. We planned on driving together. We don’t have Epcot tickets and I’m wondering if/how we can still use the Skyliner to Hollywood?

    Hi Cady!

Welcome to planDisney!  I see your visit to Walt Disney World Resort is just a few days away.  I bet you can't wait to experience all the magic and excitement that awaits!

Cady, the Disney Skyliner connects several Disney Resort hotels, Disney's BoardWalk, EPCOT, and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  It's not only a convenient transportation option, but it's also a fun one!  In fact, my boys enjoy it so much that my youngest actually thinks it's one of the best rides in all of Walt Disney World!

As you plan your day, it's important to note that the Skyliner station for EPCOT is located at the International Gateway (not the main entrance), which means you would need to enter EPCOT to get to the Skyliner if parking there.  Since your travel party is planning to drive together, but some of you only have admission to Hollywood Studios while others only have admission to EPCOT, I suggest parking at Hollywood Studios for the day.  This will give those heading to Hollywood Studios easy entry to that park, and those headed to EPCOT can catch the Skyliner from the Hollywood Studios entrance to EPCOT's International Gateway.

planDisney Pro Tip:  Did you know your My Disney Experience Mobile App includes a Car Locator feature?  It can be a really useful tool at the end of the day when you're returning to your vehicle!

If you want to make the Skyliner part of your Disney day, you could always hop aboard for a quick flight to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort station.  Caribbean Beach is home to some great dining options, including a wonderful all-you-care-to-enjoy dinner at Sebastian's Bistro - a true island feast!  You can also continue to Disney's BoardWalk from Caribbean Beach for even more dining choices.  Additionally, Disney's BoardWalk is where you'll find the new entertainment venue, Hurly-Burly, which officially opens its doors on October 1, 2026!  If you decide to travel out of the parks, keep in mind that the Skyliner typically operates until about 90 minutes after EPCOT or Hollywood Studios close.

I hope this information has been helpful, Cady, and that you enjoy your visit to Walt Disney World this week!  If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!

    Cheers!
    Kristi
