We all will be in Disney for my son’s 50th birthday. He chose to come to Disney World to celebrate. He will be 50 on June 19th. He is golfing at Disney that morning and we will be at Epcot that afternoon. Is it possible for Mickey to greet him that day.

    Hey there, hi there Rosemary!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. Oh boy, celebrating a 50th birthday during Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary year sounds like a recipe for some magical memories, for sure! If he's never golfed at Walt Disney World, he's in for a real treat! Ending the day at EPCOT is a fantastic way to continue the celebration.

Be sure to pick up a complimentary Happy Birthday button for your son to wear during his stay. They are available at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and at Guest Relations at the parks. Cast members will love extending birthday wishes and may even find opportunities to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust here and there.

As much as Mickey Mouse would love to pop over to individually greet guests celebrating special milestones, his schedule is pretty booked up. Since you are at EPCOT, maybe you could plan a special birthday character dining celebration and make a reservation for Garden Grill Restaurant where Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale greet guests throughout the meal. You can even arrange to have a Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake delivered to your table for a sweet ending.

Don't forget to end your magical evening by viewing Harmonious! It's a fantastic nighttime show featuring beautiful music, lights, fountains, projections, and dazzling fireworks. It's truly spectacular!

If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, Disney Floral can help you create some extra added surprises to add to the festivities!

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
