is disney still 100% smoke free or are the smoking areas re opened

    Hey Brian!

Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for sending us your great question about smoking areas in Walt Disney World Resort.

Walt Disney World Resort is not 100% smoke-free. Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, water parks, the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Disney Springs, and Disney Resorts Collection hotels are smoke-free environments except for clearly marked, designated smoking areas. These designated smoking areas are now located outside the main entrances of most of these locations.

To learn more about the designated smoking areas located in Walt Disney World Resort, please visit this link or ask a Cast Member upon arrival. Please keep in mind that smoking marijuana is not permitted at any time, even in the designated smoking areas.

Brian, I hope this helps answer your question! If you have any additional questions, please visit planDisney again. We are always hEAR to help you!

    Wishing you a Magical Vacation,
