Disney site states one car per site at FW; if my sister is sleeping in her SUV(they have a bed in the back), could that count as the one camp vehicle so that I could still have my car to drive us to the parks?

    Jessica:

If you're using the SUV like you would a camper, then yes, you can have the second car.  Every time we camp at Fort Wilderness there are folks who bring Class Bs or trucks with tents off the back, especially in the partial hook-up loops of 1500 and 2000.

I imagine that the one-car rule is simply for space. If you've got a camper on the pad, there's really only room for one more car and you're not allowed to park on the shoulders of the loops.

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
