I will be in Disney for a short trip in the month of December, with all the changes at Hollywood studios and no more Osborne family lights, is it worth it to plan to go? What other holiday events take place there worth seeing? Thanks

Hello, Tara, thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, it's so nice to see you back!

It's always a treat to head back to Walt Disney World Resort no matter what time of the year, but the Holiday Events and Celebrations are unique and festive and you can be sure to find lots to see, experience and do during this time of the year. The Disney Resort hotels, Theme Parks, Water Parks and Disney Springs are all decked out with the most lavish decorations and activities, all listed for you in greater detail in the above-mentioned link. I will list some of the most popular experiences which may be of interest to you, Tara.

Holidays Around the World at Epcot featuring the interesting and unique holiday traditions throughout the 11 country pavilions in World Showcase, Disney's Candlelight Processional, and IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth fireworks show.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the jolliest party at Disney's Magic Kingdom park.

Holiday Decorations at all the Disney Resort hotels all revolve around the unique theming of each hotel and have stunning displays, such as, for example, the life-size Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. One of my favorite things to do is ride the Resort Monorail and visit all the Monorail Resort hotels to see all the festive decorations, it's so much fun!

Wishing you a magical and festive Walt Disney World Resort vacation, Tara.
