    The Disney Shopping Card is limited to Disney owned and operated merchandise locations. I am arriving July 23 for a 7 day stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge. If I purchase one for $1000 would there be enough places to use it. 3 adults and 2 children.

    Disney Gift Cards are a great way to go cashless while on vacation.  Here are some details about where you can spend your Disney Gift Cards.  

    There are just a handful of places that won't accept Disney Gift Cards, so I always keep about $100 in cash on hand just in case.  

    Another great idea is to split up your children's spending money onto 2 separate gift cards so that they can feel ownership in spending their money for souvenirs.  They come in endless designs too, so I'm sure you'll be able to find characters to personalize your experience.
