We have been to disney several times, but i am planning our first REAL WDW vacation in April 2013. We have a 5 and 7 year old . I want To make it extra special but time for pools and relaxing each day too. Any ideas

You and the family are going to have such a magical time at Walt Disney World next year. My kids are two years apart also and I can assure you it is going to be awesome. The kids should be tall enough to ride the likes of Space Mountain, Splash Mountain and many other awesome attractions which always makes the vacations better. It was a big day when I daughter finally got to ride Soarin' Over California at Epcot. This ride is a must do by the way. One way to make it extra special is to have a character dinner. I took my kids to meet some of their favorite characters and we all enjoyed a great meal also. My whole family was really happy with the experience and with so many to offer, I am sure you will also. I also agree with you, pool time is necessary. I would recommend that you take the kids to one of the Disney waterparks. I had the best time in April at Disney's Blizzard Beach. Everything about this great waterpark is geared towards fun and relaxation. I spent hours on the lazy river just watching my cares melt away as we enjoyed our fun in the sun. I think your family will totally love it too. I hope this assists you in your planning. Feel free to ask more questions on how you can make the vacation even more magical.
