We have been to Disney several times, but never with kids that are suddenly able to get up and run away. I'm suddenly very paranoid I might lose one of my kids. Are there any kind of ID bracelets or anything you can purchase at Disney?

    Crystalyn!

I hear you! My kids are 1 and 4. I can just imagine my gregarious 1 year old darting off to chat with another family and then who knows where else!

I don't know of any ID bracelets provided by Disney. But you can still rig something up yourself---a simple plastic bracelet or necklace with your cell phone or name would be helpful. Other moms write their pertinent info inside their kids clothes, so the kids can show an adult if need be.

One thing that I've always wanted to get are those write on temporary tattoos, have you seen them? Once company is safetytat.com. You put the temporary tattoo on your kids' hand and then write your cell phone number on it. And easy and obvious way to keep your kids safe.

Another tip is to just coach your kids on what to do if they get separated from you (just don't frighten them while you're telling them!)---help them recognize cast members, set up a meet-up spot, locate the baby care centers or if all else fails, tell them to find the first mom with a stroller and ask her for help!

Disney is a very safe place and Cast Members are trained to watch for kids without parents. So, try to focus on your vacation and don't worry too much--you are going to have a magical time!
