    Hi - we are going to Disney in September and usually book Saratoga with free dining.We missed the deadline this year and so its value resorts this year.Which one is the newest and what one do you recommend ?

    Hi Daniel,

    Disney's Art of Animation Resort is currently being constructed on Walt Disney World property, but it will not be open until early summer of 2012.  Therefore, the newest among Disney's value resorts is Disney's Pop Century Resort.  I stayed there with my son and a group of students from my school a few weeks ago.  They loved it!  It is a colorful, larger-than-life resort that offers a lovely food court and a variety of pools. (Try the tie-dye cheesecake and chocolate chip croissants if you stay there).   I would encourage you to consider booking a preferred room at this resort as then you will find yourself within 500 feet of Classic Hall and the Pop Century bus stops.  That will save you quite a few footsteps over the course of your vacation.  I would even go so far as to request a room in the 1960's section of the resort as it surrounds the adorable Hippy Dippy Pool.
