We are going to Disney September 28 through October 6th this year, what is the weather typically like during that time? We have gone in November and it was beautiful and went last January when it was 26! Thank you!

    Hi Lisa,

I've visited WDW a few times at the end of September. It's usually hot and humid. June, July, August, and September all have very similar weather with steady highs around 90. In September, the average high is 90 with an average low of 72. You'll find that by the end of the month that there is much less rain than is often seen during the summer months. By October, the average high is around 85 and low about 65.

Later fall (November) is a great time to visit for lower temperatures but before the cold of winter. 26 in January is not the norm. We've been in January when it was cold but freezing temperatures don't often occur! In fact, we've been in January when it was also hot. Usually, it's somewhere in between. Sorry that you had to experience that cold snap.

Here's some good news - you can pack much lighter (mostly shorts) for a late September/early October visit!
