HI, I am going to Disney in September 2018. I was looking at the schedule of the park hours. It doesn't show all of September. The days I could view, it has magic kingdom closed at 6pm a couple of days. Is there a reason for this?

Hi Gail, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Currently, theme park hours are being released 180 days in advance at this time. You will be able to view all of September by the end of this month. The Magic Kingdom Park is closing early on those days due to a special event being held in the park. Although it has not been confirmed yet, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be taking place on select nights in August, September, and October. It is possible that the early closure of those evenings could be for that special ticketed event. The only way to know for sure is to stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for future updates over the coming weeks. An announcement of party dates should be coming soon and tickets typically go on sale in May. If you need any more assistance planning your magical trip, please come back and visit us again. HI, I am going to Disney in September 2018. I was looking at the schedule of the park hours. It doesn't show all of September. The days I could view, it has magic kingdom closed at 6pm a couple of days. Is there a reason for this?

Currently, theme park hours are being released 180 days in advance at this time. You will be able to view all of September by the end of this month. The Magic Kingdom Park is closing early on those days due to a special event being held in the park.
