Hi, I am going to Disney in September with my kids for the first time. Do you recommend bringing a light weight regular stroller which will have better sun protection and my son can lay back in it or an umbrella stroller?

    Hi, Nicole!

September is still very hot and will be very sunny in Florida, so I would plan on the regular stroller.  I think the extra sun protection for your little guy is very important.

Remember that strollers need to be folded up when boarding buses, so get organized while waiting for the bus (I used to keep SO much stuff under the stroller, it was hard to collapse sometimes!)  Also, many strollers look alike so tie a ribbon or other marker to your stroller so you can pick it out easily among the swarm of strollers in the designated "parking lots."

Your Mouseketeer is going to need a sun hat, sunscreen, and plenty of water so plan to have your bag fully packed!   There is a wonderful Baby Care Center in each theme park if you need a place for baby changes or feedings.

Enjoy taking your kids on their first Walt Disney World vacation!  I hope everyone has a wonderful time!
