we will be going to Disney in September for the first time. My daughter is Autistic and will need some accomidations. my concern is there are 8 of us in our party will we be able to stay together in line or will we have to split up?

How wonderful that you are going to WDW and creating so many new memories!  To help  you daughter, I'd go to Guest Services at the first park you visit to obtain a Guest Assistance Card to provide your daughter with the accommodations she will need. Typically, the card is usually for a party of 6; however, I'd explain to the cast member that you are traveling with a party of 8 and don't want to be split up.  While I can't guarantee anything, I'm hopeful they will try to do their best.
