We are going to Disney this Sept. with our 7 yr old son, 4 yr old daughter & grandparents. We would like to do a Character Dining experience that would be fun for all. Would you recommend Chef Mickey's, Mickey's Backyard BBQ, or another suggestion?

Hi Anna!  Character dining experiences are great!  My boys are getting older, but they still love having their picture taken with all the characters, especially Mickey and Goofy!

My family's personal favorite, and one that we do every single visit, is Chef Mickey's.  It has all of the traditional characters (Mickey for your son, Minnie for your daughter, plus more!).  We like the breakfast buffet food the best, but they also have dinner with the characters.  There is dancing, festive music, and just a lot of fun!

Another one we love is Donald's Safari Breakfast at Animal Kingdom's Tusker House.  It has the same traditional characters (although this time, dressed as though on a safari) and the food is delicious.

You really can't go wrong with any of the character dining choices, but these two are my favorites and would be perfect for all ages and genders.   If you haven't already browsed them, here is a link to all of the Character Dining experiences at Disney World.

Please let me know if you have any other questions as you plan!
