Hi Frederick,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question!
I don’t know how long your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort will be but, I would plan at least 2 days at Magic Kingdom Park, 1 day at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and at least 1 day at one of Disney’s Water Parks.
I’ve visited
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park and
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park with my little guy (who is almost 3) several times, and I’ve found that Tike’s Peak at Disney’s Blizzard Beach is an easier “toddler” area to navigate in order to keep your eye on two little ones. I’ve also found that the water activities there are better for the littlest visitors, whereas Typhoon Lagoon is better for slightly older kids. My little guy LOVES splashing away his mornings (before his nap) at a water park, so I would recommend at least one day there.
I don’t know whether you’re contemplating going to either Disney’s Hollywood Studios or Epcot during your visit. If you are, I’ve found that Epcot has some great indoor play areas for little ones to get out of the heat (at
The Seas with Nemo & Friends and at the
Misson: SPACE Advanced Training Lab), as well as some fun splash areas for them to cool off.
Finally, I would recommend checking out the
Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones page for even more ideas and tips for making the most of your vacation!
Have a Magical Day,
Lynne
