I am going to Disney Sept 22 with 10 people. It will be four separate families with four separate Disney Dining plans. When it comes time to get the bill, do they split the tip between four families automatically? How does this work?

Hi Tim!

This is a great question. You can ask for 4 separate checks up front; I have never had a problem getting separate checks at Walt Disney World as long as I asked before ordering. Of course, another option is for everybody to just pool cash together. If all of you are sitting together then the party will count as a large party with the appropriate gratuity as opposed to saying you have four small parties (like at four separate tables).
