Hey Christina-
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. October is a wonderful time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort with the low crowds, great weather and of course Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Villains, costumes, and trick-o-treating through Magic Kingdom Park are perfect for kids of every age.
During the party you will be able to visit with some of the most loved heroes and dastardly villainous characters from the Disney universe but just for pictures. I would suggest you look online at www.kennythepirate.com and read tips on getting the most out of the party. His analysis and maps of the character locations are fantastic.
The party was worth every dollar and the only time to see certain events. Search out locations near the Haunted Mansion to get
Magic Shots (please ask the PhotoPass photographer if Magic Shots are available at each location) with the Hitchhiking Ghosts (Phineas, Ezra and Gus), meet all Seven Dwarfs, and Jack Skellington. Dopey is so silly. I love Mickey’s Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and Happy HalloWishes fireworks spectacular… it is sorcery in the sky!
Disney Dad Tip: The earlier in the season and during mid-week are the best days with the lowest crowds at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I would also suggest bringing a backpack because the candy collected from the candy trails can be very heavy. We collected over 10 pounds of sweet, tasty magic!
Christina, enjoy making many Spooktacular Magical Memories!
