Disney Schedule Planning?6 people going to Disney world. 4 adults and 2 kids, (Kids aged 10 & 14, as well as 2 of the adults are the Grandparents). We have 5 days 2 plan & 4 parks 2 go 2. Best time to visit the parks, eat, and to save money?

    Hey Chloe,

You sure know how to pack a lot of great questions into one post!

Let's start with when to visit the parks.  I recommend that your group arrives at the park of your choice at opening time each of your vacation days.  Early in the day attraction lines will be shortest and temperatures will be lowest.  You can get so much accomplished in those first few hours of the day.  I suggest that you dedicate one day to the Magic Kingdom, one to the Animal Kingdom, and one to Disney's Hollywood Studios.  Epcot really requires two days to conquer since it is composed of two parts: Future World and World Showcase.

Each your lunches a bit early (11 - 11:30 am) and this will also cut down on crowds in the restaurants.  I discovered a handy cost-cutting trick on my last trip to Walt Disney World a week ago.  We took cans of soda and bottles of water into the parks in our backpacks in the morning.  They were warm by lunch time but Disney quick service restaurants will happily give you a cup with ice for free when ordering a meal.  We just poured our beverages over the ice and voila!  With a family of four you can save $10 per meal doing this.  Those savings add up.  You might also want to consider freezing water bottles and taking them into the park as these will provide free and chilly refreshment whenever you need it without having to purchase additional drinks throughout the day.

I hope you find these suggestions helpful.  Have a magical trip!
