How do I use my Disney Rewards Redemption card? Do I use it in place of my Disney Visa? Or use my Visa and then pay down then balance at the hotel with the redemption card?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nancy! I like to refer to my Disney Visa as The Most Magical Card on Earth. Raising three growing boys, I get lots of magical use out of my Premier Card with my weekly gargantuan grocery store trips!

You can redeem Disney Rewards Dollars using a Disney Redemption Card, which is works similarly to a Disney Gift Card. Once you have a physical card, you can conveniently reload them online right before your trip at disneyrewards.com. The great thing is Redemption Cards have no expiration date, regardless of when you earned the points. Typically, they can be used as forms of payment at most Walt Disney World Resort locations in place of your Disney Visa. I like to use mine towards guilt-free meals at Signature Restaurants, Annual Passes, and magical extras, such as Fireworks Dessert Parties. You'll need to put your Disney Chase Visa on file at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel; however, you can also present your Redemption Card at the Front Desk as payment toward room nights or accumulated purchases on your Resort folio charge.

I hope this helps, Nancy! See ya' real soon!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
