I have a Disney Rewards Redemption card from my Disney visa. Can I use it to pay for the gratuity for meals on the dining plan? Thanks

    Hi Christy!

I asked the same question for my visit this past year and found out the answer was "Yes!".  I just called Disney Visa to verify the terms had not changed and as of today's date it still is true.  The locations that are on the Disney Dining Plan are also locations which accept the Disney Visa Redemption Rewards Dollars.  Be sure to verify the terms of your card prior to your travel dates.

If you choose to pay with your Disney Visa Redemption Rewards dollars you can do this two different ways.  First, you can carry the Rewards card along with you and use it in any of the participating locations.  Or, my favorite way, is to charge the gratuities back to your room and then at the end of your stay use any rewards cards or gift cards you have to pay the balance.  That way you only need to carry your magic band/card along with you to the parks each day.

I hope this information helps you with planning the most MAGICAL vacation ever!  Be sure to come back and visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with any further vacation planning questions.

    Have a Disney Day!
