Can Disney rewards dollars be used to pay for port adventures on a Disney Cruise?

    Ahoy Ali,

Thanks for coming to planDisney with your question! I am happy to help you with how to use a Disney Rewards Redemption Card on your next cruise. I actually used my Disney Rewards Redemption Card on my last Disney Cruise Line sailing, and it was very easy to do. I loved being able to apply those Disney Reward Dollars that I had earned towards my purchases onboard!

First off, you will want to request your Disney Rewards Redemption Card from Chase Disney Visa at least three weeks in advance of your cruise so that it has time to arrive to you before you set sail. If you already have a Disney Rewards Redemption Card, you can load your Disney Reward Dollars to that card.

Once you are onboard the ship, head to the Guest Services Desk. The cast members there will be able to help you apply your Disney Rewards Dollars from your Disney Rewards Redemption Card to your charges on the ship. These will include your Port Adventures as well as any other onboard purchases, such as for massages and other relaxing services at Senses Spa & Salon or souvenir and other items at the amazing onboard shops.

I hope that this information is helpful for you, Ali! Please feel free to sail on back with any further Disney Cruise Line planning questions.
