Hello! Can you use disney rewards dollars to purchase genie plus and individual attraction selections at Walt Disney world?

    Hi Michelle!

In only a few weeks, you will be in Walt Disney World in sight of Cinderella Castle ready to conquer the Magic Kingdom mountain range, fly with Peter Pan, and eat all the Mickey shaped foods! The 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing, so be on the look out for the new 50 character statues spread throughout the parks for an extra bit of delight and the many new, special snacks adorned with a shimmering, chocolate 50th medallion.

We've never had a friend like Genie before, so we will all be discovering details about how it works over the next few days and weeks. As Disney's Genie+ rolls out, we will learn more about the real life applications of the new system that allows Guests to head to the Lightning Lane and cut wait times for attractions. Since theme park tickets may be purchased with reward dollars from a Disney Visa, it seems logical a ticket add-on could be as well. And if Genie+ is available with reward dollars, then separate Lightning Lane purchases probably will too. The chance to enjoy more attractions at the theme parks seems like a great way to use your rewards

Wishing you a wonderful adventure when you visit Mickey!
