Have a Disney Reward redemption card and was going to apply my $250.00 toward a payment for my trip taking in June. If something happens and we have to cancel the trip do I lose those redemption points or do they go back on my card?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Anita! It’s great to see you here!

I am so excited that you are planning an upcoming vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! One of the great benefits to the Disney Visa Card is the ability to earn Disney Reward Dollars, in addition to some great Disney Visa Card Disney Character experiences in the Disney Theme Parks (subject to change). On the “Frequently Asked Questions” page of the Disney Reward Dollars web page, it mentions that if you “return” an item (I would imagine canceling a Magic Your Way Vacation Package counts as a “return”), your Disney Reward Dollars are not refunded. In order to avoid the loss, my suggestion would be to keep the Disney Reward Dollars to use on your vacation for souvenirs! There are many places that accept them throughout Walt Disney World Resort when you have a chance, I suggest familiarizing yourself with the “Where to Redeem” section of the web page.

I hope this answers your question and that you have a most magical vacation! Please come and visit us again for all of your planning needs,
