Can I use my disney reward credit card points to pay for the down payment on our trip? Do you know when prices for Jan./Feb. and any deals come out? Thank you for all your help.

    Hi Michelle,

I have used my Disney Rewards Visa many times to pay for Disney vacations.  Yes, you may put your down payment for your upcoming trip on your Disney Rewards Visa.  If your down payment is on a vacation package that includes theme park tickets, Chase may even extend you a period of six months interest-free on your payment.  Contact Chase for more details regarding this offer.  The other option is to use the reward dollars you have already accrued through prior use of your Visa.  This option would not afford you the six-months interest-free option.

Presently, you can book Walt Disney World vacation packages through December 2012.  If you are making a room-only reservation for January/February 2013, you can call the Disney Travel Office at (407) W-DISNEY or your preferred travel agent now to reserve your room.  If you would prefer to book a package for that same time frame, you should be able to do that very soon (within a few more weeks).

Let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your winter 2013 adventure.  We'd be delighted to help.
