I have been spotted in the Walt Disney World theme parks as well as
Disney Springs with shopping bags on both arms, full of magical purchases from hats to pins and everything in between. There are just so many wonderful items on offer that it can be hard to pick just one!
It sounds like we may be kindred spirits in shopping, and I fondly remember the days when purchases could be delivered to my
Disney Resort Collection hotel. Unfortunately, Katie, the days of souvenir delivery to the resort are in the past and have not yet returned. I am wishing on a star that it will return someday soon, but I don't have any updates to share with you about when that day might come.
That being said, there are some tips that I can share with you to make your shopping experience just a little bit easier. Have you tried
Merchandise Mobile Checkout? I love the convenience of scanning my items, checking out on my device, and displaying my QR code to the Cast Member on the way out of the store. Skipping the checkout line allows me to get a move on to my next DOLE Whip® or Mickey-shaped pretzel! Also, most merchandise locations will be able to ship your purchases back to your home, just check with a Cast Member for pricing and availability.
If you are making multiple purchases throughout your trip, you may choose to rent a locker at a theme park to store your items, then pick them up on your way back to the hotel. Once you've reached your checkout day, you can consolidate all the souvenirs from your visit and ship them from your hotel right before you head home!
