Are there any Disney Resorts that are in walking distance to Downtown Disney? Looking to book two different resorts for our trip, is there a way to move our luggage from one resort to the other easily?

    Debra,

On nearly every visit to Walt Disney World, our family "resort hops" in which we stay at 2 or more resorts in a single trip.

The only WDW resort within walking distance to Downtown Disney is Saratoga Springs. It's a large resort though and depending on where your room is located, you may prefer to take a boat.

Other resorts with boat transportation to Downtown Disney include Old Key West, Port Orleans Riverside, and Port Orleans French Quarter. I love taking the boat to shop and dine!

Moving your luggage is stress-free. Call Bell Services or drop off your bags at the Bell Services desk after checking out of your first resort. Ask them to transfer your luggage to your next resort. Once you check in to your second resort, simply call Bell Services and request your bags to be brought to you. We usually go to a park and then check in to our second resort later in the day when we take a break from touring.

    Have fun!
