Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erin! I’m glad you’re hEAR planning the fine details of your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I’m sure you’re going to have a wonderful grown-up trip, but will be thinking plenty about baby. When I visited for the
Princess Half Marathon weekend and had to pump for my daughter, I learned a lot about the process!
You will have a mini fridge in your room, but in my experience, it’s not cold enough to keep anything frozen, but will cool nicely. I even supplemented the chill with ice from the ice machine down the hall. There is no freezer for guests otherwise at the Resorts you mentioned, but if you want to switch up your reservation to the moderate Resort of
Disney’s Cabins at Fort Wilderness, you’ll have access to a full size fridge with real freezer. While I was pumping and storing in a soft side cooler or backpack during the day, I had to fly home with a zillion little bags of chilled milk, all subject to TSA, which wasn’t very fun. What I wish I had done was prep a Milk Stork shipment (you can google them). Milk Stork is an easy way to get your milk home quickly at a safe temperature. You’ll get a cooler, sterile bags and shipping container dropped to your hotel, and you can then pack the cooler to your liking and hit the freeze button. Then, drop the pre-labeled box off with your Walt Disney World Resort’s Front Desk and you’ll be able to track it overnight.
If I can help you locate the
Baby Care Centers in all four main theme Parks for a nursing station or perhaps the coin-pay lockers, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
