Hello Kristyn,
Thank you for stopping by planDisney! I love a good resort day and an entire stay dedicated to rest and relaxation is certainly on my bucket list. You absolutely can book a room at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel without having park reservations. I have a number of friends who do this a couple of times a year. You can just enjoy your resort and what it has to offer without the hustle and bustle of the crowds inside of the parks. There is plenty of stuff to do at the resorts to keep you busy if visiting
Magic Kingdom Park isn’t on your to-do list. There are daily activities, all resorts have wonderful pool options, and multiple places to grab a bite. Some have easy access to other resorts nearby to expand of the activities and things to see. Some even have direct access to Disney Springs for a day of shopping.
Some other activities that still are Disney themed and fun for example,
Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf is 18 holes based on the animated film Fantasia. You can also visit visit Coronado Springs Resort for the
Spanish Mosiac Art if you are feeling creative. This two hour experience gives you the opportunity to create a colorful keepsake that will be no larger than 12” x 12” and comes complete with a travel container for your trek back home. If you were looking for a night out dancing check out
Atlantic Dance Hall on
Disney’s BoardWalk. There are so many things to enjoy without visiting any of the four theme parks, the list almost seems endless.
I see your visit is around the corner and if you do plan on visiting and just staying at your resort, make sure you check out what advanced dining reservations are still available. There could be wonderful tables waiting for you to enjoy a special meal.
I hope this information helps you plan this easy-going stay. If you are looking for any additional planning tips, visit us anytime at

Have a magical stay,
