Do Disney resorts put a hold on your credit card for room incidentals?

    Hello Holly!
Thanks for bringing your great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A few years ago I checked into a hotel in Washington D.C. and a 300 dollar hold was put on my debit card... it was awful, so I can really understand your concern about credit card holds. The good news is that the Walt Disney World Resort does not put any holds on your card when you check-in. The only time the Resort hotel will charge your card is if you incur charges that reach the preset Resort limit or the day of check out, whichever comes first. Currently, the limits are 1,500 for Deluxe resorts, 1,000 for Moderate resorts and  is 500 dollars for Value resorts.

I hope your time at the Walt Disney World Resort it magical!

    See ya real soon!

I am thrilled to be able to help other Disney guests plan their adventures. Learn More About Anne
