    What Disney resorts have pools with lazy rivers

    Hi there, Dean!

    It sounds like you're planning for a SPLASHTACULAR time during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I'm so happy to hEAR you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth this June. 

    If you're looking for a Disney Resort Hotel pool with a lazy river, look no further than Stormalong Bay, the feature pool shared by Guests of Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort. To me, Stormalong Bay feels almost like a mini water park! The popular beachside pool complex has tons of water features, and holds 795,000 gallons of water when they're all combined.

    The Stormalong Bay area covers over 3 acres, features a life-sized shipwreck replica, a 230 foot-long waterslide, and a giant sand-bottomed pool. There is an elevated tanning deck, three heated whirlpool spas (what better place to be after a long day exploring Walt Disney World's four theme parks?), and a relaxing lazy river where you can float the day away. Guests of both the Yacht Club Resort and the Beach Club Resort have access to Stormalong Bay during normal operating hours. 

    The resorts also have three leisure pools that are a bit quieter and have less activity than the main pool area: the Tidal Pool at Disney's Beach Club Resort, the Admiral Pool at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, and the Dunes Cove pool, located at Disney's Beach Club Villas. All of the pools are open to Guests of both the Yacht and Beach Club Resorts, and feature whirlpool spas. 

    You can also find an AWESOME lazy river at Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park. Cross Country Creek is a 3000-foot-long lazy river that winds all around the park, through caves, under bridges, and past a forest. You'll even pass the cabin of the Ice Gator, who's holed up inside with a cold. Watch out when he sneezes, you might get a surprise soaking!
