Hi Stephanie! Welcome to planDisney!
There is nothing more exciting than planning a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! The excitement of choosing your Disney Resorts Collection hotel and deciding which restaurants to dine at during your stay is part of all the fun. Walt Disney World has always considered how to get places to be a key component of your visit. With the addition of the
Disney Skyliner, there are countless transportation options to choose from.
There is a diverse number of resorts along the Disney Skyliner path. If you are looking for budget-friendly options, Disney's Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort must be considered. Each of these resorts has amazing theming and is very family-friendly.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a step up in terms of accommodations. You'll find a delicious table service restaurant here named Sebastian's Bistro. The pool area is great for the entire family including a poolside bar and a splash area for the children. One Skyliner stop away, you will find the newest resort tower built just a few years back.
Disney's Riveria Resort is a deluxe-style hotel that is stunningly decorated and provides a relaxed atmosphere away from the parks. The last stop on the Disney Skyliner path takes you to the International Gateway at the back entrance to EPCOT. Here you are steps away from the EPCOT Resort area hotels, Disney's Beach Club, Disney's Yacht Club, and Disney's Boardwalk Inn.
The resort options along the monorail path include some of the classic hotels that have been part of Walt Disney World from the beginning. Each has deluxe accommodations and top-notch dining experiences.
Disney's Contemporary Resort is known for the monorail traveling directly through the building, which makes for a fun ride with little ones. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is incredibly themed and has the best beach viewing area for the Magic Kingdom fireworks each night.
As of now, Disney has not announced a return date for the Disney Dining Plan. I'm hopeful for a return shortly. This will not stop you from making Advanced Dining Reservations at any of the countless dining locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. For your park tickets, adding the
Park Hopper Option to your ticket package will give you the flexibility to visit any of the four theme parks each day. My family always enjoys starting our day at one park, taking a mid-day break at the resort pool, then returning to a different park to finish the evening. This plan helps extend each day and make your trip feel even longer than it is.
Stephanie, you have a few options when it comes to booking your stay. You can visit the
Walt Disney World website and book your stay yourself. The website is extremely user-friendly and will provide all of the add-on options you want. You can also
call Walt Disney World and speak to a Cast Member. The Cast Member will be happy to book your stay directly over the phone. The last option is to work with an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. This individual will take care of the entire booking and be able to provide recommendations of their own. Simply perform a Google search for a planner and there will be many options that pop up. The best part of this option is there is no added cost to you for using their services.
Happy planning!
