    Hello, will any Disney resorts be decorated for Christmas by November 3&4?

    Hi Kelly! It sounds like you are all ready for the Christmas season! So am I! And, nobody “does Christmas” better than Mickey!

    You will be so close to the Christmas decorating season at the Walt Disney World Resort. The season officially kicks off with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom Park on November 8, 2024. The Christmas party decorations begin going up after midnight on Halloween night. So, if you’re visiting Magic Kingdom Park any time after October 31, you will see Christmas decorations in the park! A few years ago, I had a neat conversation with a Cast Member who assists with decorating Magic Kingdom Park. He shared that it usually takes two nights to complete the Christmas decorations in that particular park. Guests can purchase tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

    The timing for decorating the resort hotels can vary. However, most are fully decorated by mid-November at the latest. So, depending on which resort you’re visiting, and when you’re checking in and checking out, you might catch the very beginning of Christmas decorations (and music) at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels!
