Do the Disney resorts allow RV's to be parked on the parking lot while staying in their hotels?

    Hi Earl!

My husband and I are proud owners of a large motor coach and I know how hard it can be to find parking for it during travel when we are not staying in an RV park. My husband prefers a hotel when driving from spot to spot so picking one that can handle something that big can be difficult.

Most of the Disney resorts can handle large RV parking in one of their lots. It might not be close to your assigned room as they must be parked in a location that will not affect other guests parking needs. Some resorts can handle it better then others with their parking lot configuration.

Old Key West is a resort that it is hard to park something that large. If your resort cannot handle it then they will guide you to the closest resort that can. If you need a ride back after parking they will provide that if you discuss your situation with a manager.

Last year we found ourselves staying in the Fort Wilderness Campground when a hurricane decided to make Orlando its target. Everyone was cleared from the Fort and we were in a room at Old Key West while our bus was in the parking lot at Port Orleans Riverside!

Please know that if you do park your RV in a lot then you will not be able to live out of it at any time during your stay. Generators cannot be going and pets may not be left in parked RV's except at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds.

If you have any questions about Rving please let me know as this is something we do for months at a time at Walt Disney World!
