Hiya Debbie - welcome to
planDisney!
I'm so glad you've stopped by to ask this question - I was just doing a little research myself about bringing pets to Walt Disney World Resort, so I'm happy to share what I've found!
Currently, there are several Disney Resorts Collection hotels with
designated pet-friendly rooms. These include
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort,
Disney Port Orleans Resort – Riverside,
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, and a more unique option,
The Cabins at Fort Wilderness Resort. These accommodations are perfect for pets with easy access to green space for relief and exercise. Because this is a pilot program, availability is limited and you will need to call and speak to a Reservations Cast Member at 407-934-7639 for more information and to book.
Another option is for your pet have a luxurious overnight stay of their own at
Best Friends Pet Care, a third-party business that offers pet care services to Walt Disney World Resort Guests. Your own Pongo, Dug, or Max can have their very own Vacation Villa complete with turndown service, playtime, and even a TV to catch up on Pluto and Mickey's antics! This option guarantees that your pet will have just as magical a vacation as you do, and opens up many more possibilities for your own pet-free accommodations!
Best Friends Pet Care also offers various daycare options, and when available, sometimes offer limited pick-up and drop-off services. You'll want to reach out to them directly to confirm these transportation options are available when you reserve your services. Because our friends at Best Friends Pet Care are a third-party business, the standard complimentary Disney Bus transportation from resorts does not apply here, but I'm sure they will be ready to help you with all your pet-related trip planning!
I hope you and your crew, both on four legs and two, have a magical trip!
Please let me know if any other questions arise that I can help with.
