Welcome to planDisney, Nicole!
Although I live a hop, skip, and a jump from Walt Disney World, my family loves a relaxing getaway at the Resort hotels. And when visiting with an even larger group, Disney seems to always accommodate all Mouseketeers. This includes offering adjoining rooms.
The good news is that all
Disney Resort hotels have adjoining or connecting room options. It’s just a matter of availability. There isn’t a way to guarantee them; however, you can request them in the
My Disney Experience App in the “Hotel Reservations” section. Up to 60 days before your arrival, you can complete an online check-in and make your request there. I find that booking directly with a Disney Cast Member on the phone or working through a Disney-authorized travel planner helps your chances of success. But, once again, this is never a 100% guarantee.
If you don’t want to take the chance of being away from your party, consider booking a suite or a 5th- or 6th-sleeper room option. You can find these at the following Resort hotels:
Value Resort Hotels-Disney’s Art of Animation (The Big Blue Pool is a vibe!)
-Disney’s All-Star Music
Moderate Resort Hotels-Disney’s Caribbean Beach (This is one of my family’s all-time favorites.)
-Disney’s Coronado Springs
-Disney’s Port Orleans—Riverside
Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resort Hotels-All of these hotels have 5+ Guests room options.
Nicole, I hope that these ideas help you move forward on your planning journey! Please don’t hesitate to
give us a holler here at planDisney if you have any other questions.
Magic always,
LeAndra
