When does Disney resort transform both parks from Halloween to Christmas? I was wanting to go so I can see some of the fall and Christmas decor. When would be the best time to go to do so?

Welcome to planDisney, Adriana. Thanks for stopping by to share your question with us. Two of my favorite times of the year to visit the Disneyland Resort are Halloween Time and the Holidays, so this is a question after my heart.

We are right in the midst of the spooky season with Halloween Time in full swing at the resort. The giant Mickey pumpkin is in full glow at the top of Main Street, U.S.A. and there are plenty of seasonal spooktacular eats and treats right now. Did someone say pumpkin spice? The Halloween season will run through October 31 at the Disneyland Resort. Once all the ghoulish fun has been had, it will be time to usher in the holiday season.

Although the spooky fun ends on October 31, the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort won't officially start until November 10. During this in-between time, you will start to see holiday decorations and adornments slowly start to trickle in and fill the resort, however, the festivities and complete decorations won't be ready until the official start day of November 10. This is when all of the holiday entertainment also starts like A Christmas Fantasy Parade and "Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks. Another one of my favorite things to do during the holiday season is head over to Disney California Adventure Park to eat my way through the Disney Festival of the Holidays.

Adriana, I hope this helps as you plan out the best time for your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. If any other questions cross your mind that we can help with, please come back to ask us. Until then I wish you happy planning!
