Are the Disney resort rooms babyproof? Do I need to bring covers for electrical outlets or worry about anything in reach of little on-the-go hands? We are staying at Art of Animation Lion King suite.

    Hi Sarah!

The Disney Resorts certainly appreciate that many young children will be using their facilities and rooms during their vacations. But it is still a great idea to walk through your room when you check-in to see if there is something that you can make a little better for your toddler.

I always brought outlet plugs with me on our stays and filled the non used ones with the cover. Check for wiring that could be within reach of little hands and get those tucked safely away. The room decor is fairly substantial so there is not much that little hands can reach or break.

Basically do the walk through and treat the room as you would a room at your home by keeping things out of reach such as shampoos and medicines. You will love the room you will have at the Art of Animation Family Suite. It is a magical resort with the largest pool on property and a great food court. I am sure you are getting very excited!
