Hi, Shana!
I’m happy to hear you’re planning a visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort this winter—the holiday season is one of my favorite times to enjoy all the special extras the theme parks have to offer that time of year. The seasonal decorations, events, attractions and treats make “The Most Magical Place on Earth” even more delightful!
I recommend one of the family suites at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, which sleep up to six people (your youngest is considered an infant and doesn't count toward the room occupancy, but you can bring or request a portable crib). This type of accommodation features a separate bedroom, pull-out sofas in the living room, two full bathrooms and a kitchenette. You and your family will love the colorful, larger-than-life theming and unique touches, from the lobby, to the grounds, to suites themselves.
Booking two standard rooms with two queen size beds each at a moderate resort, such as
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, would give you the flexibility of having one more bed than the family suites in case that works better for your group (I know that sometimes siblings don't want to have to share). However, this option will likely cost significantly more than one family suite, and you won’t have an in-room kitchenette.
I hope this information is helpful, Shana, and that you have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World. Please feel free to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your pixie-dusted vacation!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
