Hiya, Joel!
Thanks for bringing another question to planDisney. You're just a few months away from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort –– I bet the excitement is really starting to set in! You're also about to hit a big vacation-planning milestone: your
60-day advance dining window should be opening in just over a week. And since it sounds like you'll be staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you'll be able to book reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days) at that 60-day mark. If you're hoping to book a table at harder-to-get spots, like the new
Space 220 Restaurant, I recommend starting to book reservations for those restaurants at the end of your trip and working your way backward –– you'll be likely to find the most availability on those later days that aren't open to everyone just yet.
I'm happy to report that you and your wife can absolutely make simultaneous
Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane selections beginning at 7 AM each day. After missing out on a coveted
Star Wars: Rise Against the Resistance spot during our last trip, my husband and I chose to do the same thing for the rest of our stay and had a lot of success. After booking that first Lightning Lane selection, you'll be able to make another selection two hours later (and every two hours after that). And since I know how easy it can be to lose track of time during a busy Walt Disney World day, I suggest setting a timer to remind you when it's time to make your next pick. That way you can focus on all the fun without needing to constantly check the clock.
I'm glad you stopped by planDisney again, Joel. I hope this helped to answer your question and I'm wishing you lots of pixie dust during your upcoming Walt Disney World visit!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
