Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Linda! Much like you, I need my morning cup of joe to get me going! Fortunately for me, whenever I see Joffrey’s coffee around Walt Disney World Resort, I know I’m on vacation and having a good time!
You’ll find a coffee maker in each and every Walt Disney World Resort hotel room, though the makes and models may vary. Most of the Value Resorts and Moderate Resorts offer a Cuisinart two-mug brewing system. Housekeeping provides a few pre-loaded filter packs, sweetener, stir sticks and styrofoam cups. In many of the Deluxe Resorts, such as
Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, you’ll find my favorite type of machine, the K-cup-brewing Keurig. In these rooms, you’ll find a small assortment of K-cup coffees and teas each morning, which I adore. I typically visit the quick service eatery and choose a few honey packets for tea in the afternoons, so I’m always using the brewers!
Rooms that offer microwaves are typically family suites like those found at
Disney’s All-Star Music Resort and Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. There are a few hotels, like Disney’s Yacht Club that offer rentable microwaves at an extra charge, if they are available. If you find yourself in need of toasting a bagel or warming some snacks, feel free to take your dish to the Quick Service restaurant in your hotel to use the microwave.
If I can answer any more of your vacation questions, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
